Our Latest Read Aloud

Tales of Beetle the Bard by JK Rowling, grades 4 and up. I was looking for something a little lighter this week, but still wanted to continue our folk tales theme. What better than "wizarding tales?"

The Dangerous Days of Daniel X by James Patterson

Here's our summer read aloud:

My son loves this book. It's full of action, adventure, and aliens. He has laughed aloud while listening to this book. He even asks if we can read aloud each night! Believe me when I say, he doesn't do that often!

Because the chapters are so short, I can read a few aloud and he can read a few and we both have a great time!

**We've finished this book.**
