There's also a beach with a pier, canoeing and paddleboating if you're brave enough to venture out.
However, since our unfortunate adventure with an alligator during our last canoeing trip, we aren't brave enough to risk it yet.

Lots of nature trails are available for hiking and a more comprehensive nature study. Be sure to take those handy field guides.
